Summary
Zany alchemist Rebecca O’Klein is far from a typical noble lady. At 24, she is still unmarried and spends her days cooped up at the workshop practicing her craft rather than attending lavish balls. Unfortunately, her eccentric lifestyle is jeopardized by her family pressuring her to quit her profession and finally find herself a husband. But who would want to marry “The Oddball Lady of High Society”? Enter Carlyle Rowinster, a duke who’s also reluctant to settle down. He suggests Rebecca enter a contract engagement with him, and in exchange, he’ll help her become the greatest alchemist ever!

I kinda feel sorry for that scumbag there. His delusions were fed to him
by the worst kind of people who are merely using him; an orphan who
doesn't know where he came from, whom was picked up in a case of
mistaken identity (the plotting dukes actually think he's the emperor's
long-lost half brother, which is ironically Count Crixus' real identity
known only to himself and the emperor... though, there is a good chance
that he really is the emperor's half-brother, just not the one everyone
thinks he is, as the previous emperor really did get around quite a bit), and he was
raised to see all others as tools to be used and lessers to be ordered
around. The whole think is kinda sad and tragic. Ah well, assholes are
going to asshole; FAFO is always fun to watch.
