Summary
Akane was just a child when she met a mature and beautiful man…and had continued to chase his shadow in her mind, unable to forget him. I'm guessing the author finally realized just how deep the plot-hole was that he had dug himself into. Funny how it required an exposition dump in the form of a letter to move things along to the next story-arc.
