Summary
Oh Hyo Ga dedicated his entire life to Absolute, a secret organization that serves the top zero point one percent of society. His stagnant life shifts when he reunites with his only love, Choi So Hee, and her seven year old daughter, Yeolum. When Hyo Ga decides to leave his past behind for a new life with them, the organization demands his death as the price for retirement. With his wife murdered and their modest dreams crushed, Hyo Ga is pushed to the brink of despair, left with only young Yeolum and a burning desire for revenge.
... and the second season of the Anime did a better job of pacing than I thought they would. I think they moved the Elf village arc from before hostilities with the Principality began to the inter-war period, aka the start of the second season, and used that to pad it out. Good call if that's what they did. In any event. Good season.
