Summary
Chuta Kokonose is an orphan and lives with his aunt. For as long as he can remember he's had a voice in his head, but other than that he's a normal boy - right until the day when a strangely- looking thing follows him home and teleports him to a space police station. The Chief of Solar System Department, tells him that he has been chosen by the computer as a possible candidate to join the police force. Chuta, who was shocked at first, decides to take the apitude test after being urged by the voice in his head.
... and the second season of the Anime did a better job of pacing than I thought they would. I think they moved the Elf village arc from before hostilities with the Principality began to the inter-war period, aka the start of the second season, and used that to pad it out. Good call if that's what they did. In any event. Good season.
