Summary
Obsessive love and madness are separated by a very fine line. A romantic horror story about pure love drowning in a twisted form of love. Yoito was at the height of happiness after finally starting a relationship with his childhood friend, Nana. However, his peaceful days with the girl who loved him for who he truly was, without any ulterior motives, suddenly came crashing down after an accident. After witnessing Nana’s death, Yoito completely loses his composure. “I can save that girl for you.” Then, a mysterious woman suddenly appears and, to his horror, begins devouring Nana’s corpse… Is what this strange woman brings salvation, or an even worse hell? ... and the second season of the Anime did a better job of pacing than I thought they would. I think they moved the Elf village arc from before hostilities with the Principality began to the inter-war period, aka the start of the second season, and used that to pad it out. Good call if that's what they did. In any event. Good season.
