Summary
Beyond the natural world lies a breed of abnormal beings... HA, or Humanized Animals. They are a hybrid of human and animal, "designed" at the genetic level. Possessing astonishing physical capabilities, these HA are deployed into scenes of intrigue by certain ambitious individuals, seeking to showcase their true value. For what purpose did humans design these beings? Behind it all lies a grand plan connected to the future of humanity!
... and the second season of the Anime did a better job of pacing than I thought they would. I think they moved the Elf village arc from before hostilities with the Principality began to the inter-war period, aka the start of the second season, and used that to pad it out. Good call if that's what they did. In any event. Good season.
