Summary
Hwayoung was forced to join the crown princess selection because of her younger sister, and she plans on getting eliminated in the most splendid way! But it seems it won’t be easy with the crown prince Shin Yeong getting continuously entangled with her for some reason, and how the empress dowager and the empress catches sight of her as the most elligible candidate for crown princess…. A love(?) story between a free spirit and a severe fuddy-duddy!

... and the second season of the Anime did a better job of pacing than I thought they would. I think they moved the Elf village arc from before hostilities with the Principality began to the inter-war period, aka the start of the second season, and used that to pad it out. Good call if that's what they did. In any event. Good season.
