Summary
A year ago, her parents disappeared without a trace. Left all alone, the young girl spent her days working at the castle. On her days off, she would return to her family home, keeping it in order so it would be ready for her parents whenever they came back. I'm guessing the author finally realized just how deep the plot-hole was that he had dug himself into. Funny how it required an exposition dump in the form of a letter to move things along to the next story-arc.
