As is the case with much of Tezuka’s work, the main plot of Nextworld deals with Earth in the Atomic Age. Radiation and nuclear testing has led to the creation of many strange, almost supernatural species of animals, and it seems that every major nation on the planet wants to discover the secrets of these creatures and how to best harness atomic energy for their own purposes. Tensions rise as political conflicts escalate, and it seems that a third World War is inevitable. A strange mix of scientists, politicians, and young adventurers may be Earth’s last, best hope against corrupt government officials, armed forces, robots, and secret societies. Meanwhile, the boy detective Kenichi, the young Rock Holmes, Shunsaku Ban (Mustachio) and others discover the Fumoon, a race of tiny, telekinetic humanoids who evolved in Australia, and have their own plans for dealing with the impending apocalypse.

Naruse Kunihiko is an upcoming short film-maker who shares the spotlight with no one. He writes his own scripts, his own music, and uses the one-man art of claymation to realize his vision onscreen. So when he forms a friendship with Nakata, who has been assigned to interview him, Naruse finds himself unprepared for the trials of a real human relationship.
Meanwhile people who criticize Naruse have a way of "getting hurt". As Nakata finds himself drawn deeper and deeper into Naruse's world, he starts to suspect Naruse...
The first half of the book is made up by the titular story, a serial killer thriller that gets all kinds of meta and crazy as it progresses. The second half of the book consists of a short interview with Kago (and Ryuichi Kasumi, a Japanese crime fiction writer) and a number of short stories. (from Caterpillar).
Ji-ho Seo discovers an abandoned baby that for some reason, is growing up at a rapid rate. Over the course of one year, she will spend with him, what is a lifetime for him.

Japan is hit by a series of monumental natural disasters that leave the country fragmented and its people devasted. Follow the lives of its citizens as they deal with massive emigration to refugee camps on the Asian mainland and try to solve the political task of rebuilding their nation.
A Spirit of the Sun is also a retelling and melding of two well-known stories in Japan. The setting is directly lifted from the early '70s disaster science-fiction book and movie "Nippon Chinbotsu," (Japan Sinks) while many of the characters are allegorical to the key players in the Eastern classic "Sangokushi" (The Three Kingdoms). Sangokushi aficionados may discover greater entertainment by watching the characters in A Spirit of the Sun closely to spot these resemblances.

The story takes place in an era similar to that of ancient Rome in a country called Cronos. It follows a group known as the Temple Mercenaries. In particular, the manhwa is about Ares, Michael and Baroona, three young warriors with mysterious pasts and surpassing skills...
The manhwa is notable for its subtle use of anachronistic elements (Ares' shoes are similar to that of classic Adidas), as well as very dynamic and fluid action sequences.
