Having to repeat his final year in Tsurugamine High School, Kotaro is drawn to Judo through the encounters he make with first-year students Kumi Mifune, Sanshiro Saigo and Daigo Daigo. Having lost to Kotaro, first-year Judoka Kumi Mifune endeared to learn the Karate discipline in order to defeat Kotaro. However, the ambitious delinquent Judoka Daigo captured her as a bait to take on Kotaro and take over his long-standing Kyokutan dojo. Sanshiro Saigo who happened to be with Kumi was taken as well and caused the Judo Club to be involved in the conflict with Kotaro. The Onmyou Taisenki manga does not tell the same history as the anime. The story happens years before the events in the anime.
The main character, Yakumo (who also appears on the anime, as a teenager) is the son of Monju, the chef priest of the Taihaku Temple, in Kyoto. Yakumo also trains the In, with a baseball ball. In this temple, a Toujinshi (闘神土, literally 'god of war'), and Monju's former teacher, Mahoroba, is imprisioned.
The problems start when Mahoroba escapes, gains power, and transforms Monju into stone. Yakumo is called by a Zero Drive, which was one of the treasures of the temple. This Zero Drive handles Byakko no Kogenta. The story of the manga is about Yakumo's first steps with a Shikigami, training with Idzuna (Taihaku Temple's shrine maiden) and seeking Mahoroba through various Japanese historical dates. Famous Japanese historical characters such as Oda Nobunaga can be seen on the manga.
This comidic story follows Tamako, an energetic young girl with cat ears and a cat tail (although this doesn't seem to be important), and her family. From a rabbit that comes out of a cooking egg to a bitter disgruntled teacher who writes children's manga, this manga is full of gags and laughs.
Follow the adventures of Nankyoku Sakura, who seems to be obsessed with anime and manga. She started her first day at school wearing a school swimsuit, cat ears, and a maid tiara and called it her “pajamas.” She’s also insanely rich, apparently.
Kojiro is the new English teacher at Sakaue High School. He is a foreigner with blonde hair and blue eyes, he also goes to school by riding his surfboard daily. This is the story of a free-spirited teacher who came across the sea to his mother's homeland.
