Watanuki Kimihiro is a high school student plagued by yokai and ayakashi – spirits with a strong attraction to him. The spirits are invisible to others and encounters with them are extremely troublesome. When he stumbles into a shop that grants wishes, however, events in his life promise to become more unusual. The shop is owned by Yuuko Ichihara – a mysterious and beautiful (sometimes playful) witch of many names and esoteric renown. For a price, she offers to grant Watanuki's wish to be rid of the spirits. The price, according to Yuuko, must be of equal value and so, as payment, he temporarily becomes Yuuko's part-time employee – a maid to be precise! Watanuki's job also seems to consist of small errands dealing with the supernatural including the household chores. His love interest Himawari Kunogi, and "rival" Doumeki Shizuka, occasionally join him in his work as per Yuuko's request. The three become increasingly close despite Watanuki's annoyance with Doumeki. Yuuko constantly refers to "hitsuzen", meaning inevitability, destiny, or fate, as being the driving force in the world. She states that there is no such thing as coincidence, and that every single action and decision is inevitable, because without them, other related events in the future could not happen.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime is a manga based on Type-Moon's famous visual novel, Tsukihime.
The story follows Tohno Shiki, a teenage boy who, after a near-fatal accident in his childhood, gained the mysterious power to perceive lines covering everything around him. Trying to end centuries of isolation, Mina gets permission to produce a particular district for vampires called "The Bund" off the shore of Tokyo, Japan by paying off the whole national debt of the Japanese authorities along with her family's huge riches.
Carrying out a dialogue present where identified vampire film actor Seiichi Hirai (who was revealed to be a real vampire) is killed by her during his rampage, Mina shows to the planet the being of vampires while mentioning her want for the two races to live together as they have been living on "The Bund." Nevertheless, tensions run high as extremist vampire factions and awful individuals start to interfere using the human planet with the want peace of Mina. Regarding the Bund
The Bund (also called Tokyo Landfill #0) is a unique man-made island district that floats in Tokyo Bay off the shore of Tokyo. Mina had it constructed to serve as a colony for the Vampires and Werewolves.
While Vampires would be the main civilians residing in the Bund, the Werewolf guards of Mina called the Beowulf also live there fulltime on her safety. Persons of great importance (both politically or through private connection to Mina) are permitted to go to the Bund. The sole link in the mainland to the Bund is through one tunnel that is subterranean. The Bund h-AS important ports or no bridges.
There's also an underground metropolis in the Bund which is inhabited by the Fangless (vampires who ripped out their particular fangs) as a way about them to stay freely and without persecution.
As far as the public is concerned, Rocopon—earth's only alien—hasn't done much but loaf around in the 8 years since he crash-landed in Tokyo with no memory of his past. Granted, that is what he likes to do, and he does spend a lot of time playing video games. Keiichi Morisato is a good-natured, yet hapless and girlfriend-less college sophomore who is often imposed upon by his elder dorm-mates and brow-beaten into taking phone messages and doing other chores for them. He immediately puts them to work maintaining the temple grounds, but when he sees Belldandy use her powers to save Keiichi from injury, he begins to fear that she may be a demon or sorceress. He is eventually convinced of Belldandy's intrinsic goodness when he witnesses her solicitous care of the temple premises and her perfect meditation ritual. When he decides to go on a pilgrimage to India, the priest gives the couple permission to remain in the temple so long as they continue to maintain it.
